Methodology

This page explains the methodology used in compiling the information on the Organization and Programs.

The organization list was put together by doing a Google search and through information provided by a contact at Yemen Mobile Health.

Most of the information on each organization page was direct copy and paste from the original website with small tweaks.

The program name “Yemen Crisis” was sometimes used even when a program was not listed with that name. There were many programs without a name. Yemen Crisis was also used when an organization had several unnamed initiatives or there were too many to list on the site. In those cases, it made more sense to simply link to the organization website.

We have only listed organizations that hold an online presence, we have also constructed a list of organizations that are not available online. If desired, the list of organizations without an online presence can be attained by contacting us directly.

We have not yet contacted all of these organizations therefore please do your own due diligence in regard to donating, assisting, etc. If you have concerns about any of these organizations, please send over any information you have to: info@riseforyemen.org

All pictures on our site are purchased stock photos.

While we aimed to list active projects only, some of the projects may be past projects if the organization

  a) Did not indicate which it was or

  b) Did not list any active projects. Some organizations are only listing projects once they are completed. Listing these projects allow visitors to see the types of projects those organizations engage in. As we grow the site and develop contacts with each organization, we hope to distinguish between active / past projects.
